Merged Cells Limitations
We large Excel file (33 columns and 3654 rows) that is generated by SAS
We have had no problem with smaller files (say up to 33 columns and 1750 rows) The problem is this: after about 2100 rows the merging of the cells is not consistent - from row 2101 to the end the merged cells are not following the same pattern as the merging of the first 2100 rows. We may have hit some internal buffer - not sure Any ideas are greatly welcomed. We are generating an XLS file and opening it in Excel 2007 as SAS does not currently support Excel XLSX format Thanks in advance Al |

Please ignore the explanation below as it is incorrect and I apologize for posting the incorrect interpretation of the problem.
