I have lost Column A
 
Please help!!! I have been working in a workbook which has multiple
worksheets which I have set up. All but one of the worksheets are showing
the entire page but on the one I cannot view Column A. It is not hidden and
if I 'Print View' it is there. Look forward to getting help desperately!!

Menu bar: Window - Unfreeze Panes

That should do it.

I have checked that - it isn't because I have Freezed Panes
Have you any other ideas?

are you sure you can't put the mouse on the left border of the column B header
(mouse will change to double arrow) and drag it to the right?
