"Minor loss of fidelity" (MLOF) - when saving 2007 to 2003. Can weget a list somewhere ...
.... of the explanation of the error codes somewhere?
I've searched through many posts with this title and though, granted, some of the posts talk about colour issues as the cause of the MLOF, some are talking about conditional formatting and other potentially more serious issues. Since I don't want to take a chance, it would be nice to have a sheet listing what the codes actually mean and how to fix. Each MLOF seems to have its own numbers yet when you click on the "Help" on the warning screen, a generic help message comes up not one that explains the error code number. Today's MLOF warning is #136 and talks about cell formatting. But I'd like to know exactly what the problem is just in case it's not actually a "minor" loss of fidelity so I can fix it. At any rate, thoughts appreciated. Not everyone has 2007 nor can the compatibility packs be installed (locked down registries), since the compatibility packs don't seem to run as portables and need full installation. Admin rights not available to users so some users are stuck with 2007 files with only 2003 available. Thanks. :oD |
