Landscape Margins

I have messed with this far too long. It's getting to me. When I print a
Potrait Document I can set the left and right side margins for .75, .50, or
anything I want to and it prints perfectly.
When I print a landscape document and set the margins the same way, it
prints where it wants to. If I set them both for .5 one of them may be .75
and the other.6 or something that is way off from being even. What am I doing
wrong?
I'm using Office Professional 2003. I reinstalled it this morning hoping
that would help. Not.

Probably due to the method your printer handles the paper. In portrait
what happens to the top and bottom margins if you try pinching them way
down?
