stop fractions changing to dates
trying to put 5/5 into a cell and automatically changes to 5-may. how do I
stop this? |

stop fractions changing to dates
Preformat the cell as text
(Format|Cells|Number tab in xl2003 menus) Then do the data entry or start your entry with an apostrophe: '5/5 John wrote: trying to put 5/5 into a cell and automatically changes to 5-may. how do I stop this? -- Dave Peterson |
