Excel 2003 drawing objects problems in Excel 2007...
 

I have a problem seeing and manipulating a spreadsheet with drawing object
(shapes, clipart, images). These worksheets were created in Excel 2003 and
when opened in Excel 2007, they cannot be manipulated, image stays on top and
cannot be re-arranged spatially behind the other shapes on the page.

Any ideas, solutions? This problem affects nearly 800 spreadsheet/workbooks
created using 2003.

It's not entirely clear if you have opened an Excel 2003 workbook with
Excel 2007 and are having the troubles you mentioned OR if you have
opened an Excel 2003 workbook in Excel 2007, saved the workbook in Excel
2007 format and then are having problems.

If you haven't done so, try the open-as-Excel-2003 then
save-as-Excel-2007method, close the saved .xlsx or .xlsm workbook and
then re-open the now .xlsx (or .xlsm) version in Excel 2007. That may
clear up some of your problems.
