Capitalise first word in a cell

Despite being selected in the Excel Options - autocorrect when I type a word
in my spreadsheet it wont start with a capital letter - any suggestions ??

Capitalise first word in a cell

To convert existing entries to Proper case you can try

=PROPER(A1)
