deleteing duplicates

I am working with a large spreadsheet and would like to delete duplicate
names. Is there a way to do this quickly without going through the whole
spreadsheet manually. Thanks

Duke Carey

No matter what you do, there will be some manual work involved, but Chip
Peasron's site has some good advice and techniques for finding duplicates

DataFilterAdvanced Filter.

Check "unique records only" and "copy to another location".

For more on this, including copying to another worksheet see Debra Dalgleish's
site.
