Open an excel file
 

When I open an excel file I get "Open with.." and then the options Adobe or
Excel. I want to open with excel every time.

Hope do I get my doc by just clicking the file rather than the option of
using Adobe.

Try reregistering excel.

Close Excel and
Windows Start Button|Run
excel /unregserver
then
Windows Start Button|Run
excel /regserver

The /unregserver & /regserver stuff resets some of the windows registry to
excel's factory defaults.
