pasting into pivot tables query
 

i have several users, who since upgrading to Excel 2003, have an issue with
pasting values into a pivot table.

their data always defaults to date format, when they are trying to update
numeric values.

they can alter the cells format and all is well, but the changes arent
carried through to next time they use the worksheet/pivot

any ideas
