Compare Data to find discrepancies
Greetings,
I am building a new GIS system and use Microsoft Excel to prepare and analyze data before it goes into different parts of the system. Some of the data comes from a different company that I use to update our system on a monthly basis. What I need to be able to do is to take existing data from a previous export and compare it with new data that will go back into the system. All the data is linked via the Parcel ID #. Each one of the parcel ID #'s has (9) pieces of data associated with it that I need to determine if changes are happened. That pieces of data range from an owner name to the parcel land size. Thanks for any assistance anyone can offer on how to complete this. |

I'd take a look at the VLOOKUP and EXACT/MATCH functions. Should give you
some ideas on looking up data and comparing. -- Best Regards, Luke M *Remember to click "yes" if this post helped you!* "ModernGIS" wrote: Greetings, I am building a new GIS system and use Microsoft Excel to prepare and analyze data before it goes into different parts of the system.
