refreshing data in a pivot table changes cell format
I have set up a pivot table to transfer data from a table when information is
entered into certain cells. When i refresh the pivot table the format of some cells in the table changes i.e. instead of the data being present in the centre of the cell it drops to the bottom right, this is becoming really irritating as i have to correct it all the time. i am planing on distributing the workbook to a number of people so would like to know how this could be prevented? Thanks in advance for any help |
refreshing data in a pivot table changes cell format
Unfortunately, the loss of formatting upon refresh of PivotTable is a known
issue by Microsoft. The generally reocmmended solution is to record a macro of you formatting the table as desired, and then having it run after you refresh. -- Best Regards, Luke M *Remember to click "yes" if this post helped you!* "pistolpete" wrote: I have set up a pivot table to transfer data from a table when information is entered into certain cells.
