Using coloured text within a Validation List
Can you use coloured text within a validation list? I tried this and thought
that all you have too do is format the text with the list to the colour of you choice. Well I did this but then when I went to the drop down list within the spreadsheet, the text was normal i.e. Black text. The reason for wanting to use coloured text is that outside the spreadsheet the items are colour coded. |

You cannot do this.
The best you can do is use Conditional Formatting to color the text after the selection is made.
