Consolidating Rows
I'm using Excel 2007. I have a huge spreadsheet that I need a little help
consolidating. Each row has a series of columns (K-BK) that has either a dash (-) or a name in it. I'd like to remove all the dashes and "slide" the name(s) over so that they start in BL. Here's a smaller example: columns: A B C D E - Jim - - - - - - - Jon - - Jim - Jon What I'd like to see in colum F & G is: Jim Jon Jim Jon Is there a way to do that? I can easily change the dash to something else if need be. Thank you for any suggestions/help!! Cathy |
