Text box handles
Just upgraded from Excel 2002 to 2007.
Now when I open an existing XLS & try to type text into a particular text box by double clicking on it to get the handles, they do not appear. I have tried converting the XLS to XLT, XLSX & XLTX but no change and this only happens on one client computer. I performed a clean re-install of Office 2007 but no change. I then completely rebuilt the client & reinstalled Office 2007 but still the same behavior and don't know why this only happens on this one client. Thanks.... |
Text box handles
Hi,
There is at least one known bug with regards to text boxes from earlier version brought forward to 2007. I don't know if this is one of those problems, but if it is then the only solution I found was to create a 2007 textbox and copy the text from the old text box into the new one. -- If this helps, please click the Yes button.
