Text box handles
 

Just upgraded from Excel 2002 to 2007.
Now when I open an existing XLS & try to type text into a particular text
box by double clicking on it to get the handles, they do not appear. I have
tried converting the XLS to XLT, XLSX & XLTX but no change and this only
happens on one client computer. I performed a clean re-install of Office
2007 but no change. I then completely rebuilt the client & reinstalled
Office 2007 but still the same behavior and don't know why this only happens
on this one client.

Hi,

There is at least one known bug with regards to text boxes from earlier
version brought forward to 2007. I don't know if this is one of those
problems, but if it is then the only solution I found was to create a 2007
textbox and copy the text from the old text box into the new one.
