Format of Cells Changing on thier own
Hi,
I use spreadsheets daily and for months now I have been having an issue where all my cells that are formatted as 'General' change themselves to 'Currency' when I reopen the spreadsheet. Does anyone have any idea why this happens or what I can do to stop it. Thanks. P.S all of the workbooks are saved on a server and the problem is happening on anyones PC who opens them. |

Maybe there's a macro that's changing the Normal style.
If you close excel and restart it in safe mode (to disable macros), do you have the same problem? Close excel windows start button|run excel /safe file|open your offending workbook GCC wrote: Hi, I use spreadsheets daily and for months now I have been having an issue where all my cells that are formatted as 'General' change themselves to 'Currency' when I reopen the spreadsheet.
