LOST FILE
I have lost a file using Microsoft Excel.
I received an Excel file attachment via e-mail and updated the information. When I saved under another file name, I closed the program. I then went to e-mail the updated file back and can not find it anywhere. This happened to me before when renaming a "read only" file and I somehow pondered upon it after a long time of searching. I know its not deleted, and I've tried the basic Vista start search and looked in the recent document column on my Excel program. Kind of frustrated, any help would be greatly appreciated! |

The routine in future is not to try to open the attachment to the e-mail,
but to save it to disk before you start trying to alter it. -- David Biddulph DrinknByTheBay wrote: I have lost a file using Microsoft Excel.
