How do I remove "cannot open template wizard" msg box?

I saved a worksheet as a template. Then I resaved it as an .xls file. However
when I open it now, I receive the above message when I open the worksheet.

How do I stop it? Somewhere there is hidden code that says "I am a
template"!!!
