Wild gues,,,
1. If the location is in the network; check your access rights in that location 2. Check free space.. If this post helps click Yes --------------- Jacob Skaria "Lp12" wrote: Hi All, I have 2 files that i've opened and saved them to another location and then the file size became 0kb. Any thoughts? I'm not sure what you did, but these are no longer excel workbook files.
Even if you saved a completely empty workbook, your files will be a few kb large (varies depending on the version of excel). But if you're just saving the files, why not just use windows explorer and copy them from one location to another. Thanks Dave,
I did it and both the original file and the copy have changed to 0kb and all the data/content disappeared... Any thoughts? If you see that the file has 0 bytes, then it doesn't contain any content.
Does this happen with all files or just this two single files? Does it happen with all files in all folders--or just a single folder? I don't have a guess, but maybe you'll find that something is wrong with those two files or that folder????
