I have my Recent Documents set to display the last 10 worksheets opened.
However, the recent documents list is cleared out almost every time I close
Excel.
What's going on here?

Hi,

What version of Excel are you using?

Are you talking about the recently used file list at the bottom or on the
right of the File menu? Or are you talking about Window's recent documents
list?

What's this "almost every time"? Sometimes its there, sometimes some items
are lost, all the items are lost everytime? How are you shutting down Excel
or Windows?

If this helps, please click the Yes button.

Excel office button in upper left of screen

problem occurs intermittantly-all items lost when it happens

exiting Excel by clicking on "X" in upper right hand corner of Ecdel screen

thanks for your reply
