Day of the Week - Is it possible to...
I have a LONG column full of dates, about 15 years worth
of dates, in fact, formatted like so: 11/10/1987 I cannot find a function for it, but is there ANY WAY POSSIBLE to return the actual Day of the Week for that Date??...Is that a Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, etc.?...Is there a function that does this?...Life would be great if there is... Thanx... |

You could use the text function in another cell as well.
= TEXT (A1, "dddd") Assuming that your date value is in cell A1. "Steve" wrote in message ...
