Excel Dropdown menu

Hi all.

I'm wondering if it possible, and if so, how to make a dropdown menu
in excel that the "source data" switches in reg. to earlier choices.

Example:
Lets say if you have a dropdown menu in the C4 cell where you have to
choose i.e. what department someone should work in and one or more
cells that have detailed information on what equipment that person
should use.
Is it possible to then make the dropdown options change between
different equipment spesifications in reg. to wich department one
choosed?

In advance, thank you.
