i am a noob when it comes to excel formula's

this is what i want i hope it can be done

if in cell A1 i have the word New York i would like to have cell A7 show a
number like a 25

Cell A1
New York

As soon is that is typed in

Cell A7
25
Pops up

what is the formula i put in A7 so that can happen please
