Default How do I find date a data file in Outlook has been created?

I have a project. I need to import 2 Contact Lists from Outlook 2007 into an
Excel sheet and then find which are duplicate data records and delete all old
versions in order to leave just the most updated data file. How can I find
(either in Outlook or Excel) when that data file was created, modified, etc.?
Any help would be much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
