excel printing problem

everytime i try to print an excel spreadsheet it prints landscape. i have
gone in and manually checked to make sure all the printing properties, etc.
are set to portrait and they are. when i click on print preview it shows it
portrait but then when i print it, it prints landscape. i have done
everything i know to do to fix the problem but have been unsuccessful to this
point. is there anything else that you can think of that i can do to get the
sheets to print right?

Does this happen with all files or just one file? If it's just one and
you've tried it on other files, then I suspect that your file has some VBA
code to force landscape. Post back if you need more. Otto

I have a user with this exact problem. It prints other excel files landscape
as well. If it is VBA code, how do I delete it?

Thanks.

VBA code is a part of the individual file, it is not "somewhere" in
Excel. If you can come up with a file that exhibits this problem
consistently, copy that file to another computer that is operating with a
DIFFERENT PRINTER and try it there. If you are sure that the problem stays
with that file across several computers and printers, send it to me.
Include a clear step-by-step procedure of what the user does to cause Excel
to print. By this I mean "he selects this cell", or "he selects this range"
or "he sets this print range by doing this and that", and he clicks on this
and then on that, etc, etc. Include the steps the user takes to force a
Portrait or Landscape print job, and state clearly what happens on the
printed page. My email is . Remove the
"extra" from this address. HTH Otto
