copying formulas-displaying results
when I copy a formula, the cell displays the formula itself, not the results
of the calculation. how do I get the cell to display the results of the calculation? |

That cell was probably pre-formatted as TEXT, unknown to you of course.
Re-format the cell as either general or number (via FormatCells ..), then click inside the formula bar and press Enter, to re-register the formula. Note that just re-formatting the cell will NOT activate the formula.
