Selecting data points in a scatter chart
I am making a scatter chart. I want to put a trend line in it, but I can't
seem to select all of the datapoints in the chart. I right click on a datapoint and only a few are selected. How do I make a trendline based on ALL of the scatter shot data points? Thanks |
Selecting data points in a scatter chart
Make sure all your scatter points you want a trendline for are in the same
series. XL can't create trendline across randomly selected points. Then you can select the series, right-click, create trendline. -- Best Regards, Luke M *Remember to click "yes" if this post helped you!* "Anthony Blackburn" wrote: I am making a scatter chart. Selecting data points in a scatter chart
If you are not getting all the poits then you probably have more than one
series. the Trendline will only work on a single series. You would have to add a seperate trendline for each series. "Anthony Blackburn" wrote: I am making a scatter chart.
