Is there a way to insert a footnote into an Excel 2003 spreadsheet?

Footnotes
Excel isn't a very good word processor.
I just keep my notes on a dedicated worksheet. Richard wrote: Is there a way to insert a footnote into an Excel 2003 spreadsheet? -- Dave Peterson |

Go to "View" then choose "Header/Footer", then choose "Custom Footer" and
then you will be able to type what you need. If you need the footer to change each time you print the spreadsheet, you will have to go into the view, header/footer, customer footer area each time and enter the info that changes. I don't know if you can insert formulas in the footer section; I have never tried that. "Richard" wrote: Is there a way to insert a footnote into an Excel 2003 spreadsheet? |

Information only................
You cannot place formulas in the header or footer but you can use VBA code to enter info in them.
