Pasting objects in Excel
I'm using lots of arrows in an Excel spreadsheet, so I'm copying and pasting
the same arrow over and over. Every time I paste the object, it appears in random locations, usually off-screen, so I have to scroll around to find it. It doesn't seem to make a difference where I place the pointer, or whether I use a right-click option or keyboard shortcut. How can I make objects paste where I want them? |
Pasting objects in Excel
Use a simple macro
Sub Addline() BeginXArrow = ActiveCell.Left EndXArrow = BeginXArrow + 25 BeginYArrow = ActiveCell.Top EndYArrow = BeginYArrow + 25 ActiveSheet.Shapes.Addline _ BeginXArrow, BeginYArrow, EndXArrow, EndYArrow End Sub "Blacktom" wrote: I'm using lots of arrows in an Excel spreadsheet, so I'm copying and pasting the same arrow over and over.
