"Cannot Empty the Clipboard" in Excel 2007

As I work in Excel and do my cut/copy and paste procedures, many times I have
no difficulties. On occasion, and apparently from nowhere, I encounter this
situation. I will copy a cell and then receive this message "Cannot empty
the clipboard". I click on the OK button, paste my selection, and then again
receive the message "Cannot empty the clipboard". I click the OK button and
then paste my copied cell. It gets very annoying. I have closed Excel,
reopened it, and many times this error message disappears. Why does this
happen, and how can I get it to stay away?

While I have not experienced this myself, Googling it show its been around
since XL2003. While not the solutions you have been looking for, maybe one
of these would help...
