Wrong currency symbol showing on toolbar

Hi I am using Excel 2002 (In Australia) - the currency symbol displayed on
the toolbar is a Euro and it should be a dollar $ symbol. How do I change it?
My system and language settings are set to English (Australia) - locale:
Australia.

Hi Bernard thanks for that - but I have just found the answer - I have been
racking my brains for a couple of days! I went to Tools / Customize and
Removed the Formatting toolbar then Reset and added it back on and Voila! -
the correct symbol is showing!

Good to hear that all is well (as if Australia would ever used Euros!!!)
I think what you did had the same effect as resetting Styles to default
values
