Excel 2003 Pivotal Table Question
Hello,
is it possible for an excel pivot table to contain both a count and percentage figures? My current report contains a count only but I want to add a percentage figure using the counts. As an example I have a count of logged (3000) and other data. For each of the other types of data I want a percetage of those counts against the logged count. Thanks, WA |
Excel 2003 Pivotal Table Question
Hi,
The basic answer is yes. But from your description I can't tell exactly what each item is. Basically drop the logged field into the data area a second time then right click this new field and choose Field Settings, click Options, open the Show data as drop down and choose % of Total, or % or Row or % of Column, depending on what gives you what you want. There are other alternatives but you would need to show more of what your data looks like. -- If this helps, please click the Yes button.
