Excel 2007 default font
Am I missing something? Is there no way in Options to change the default font
& size, permanently, for every spreadsheet or workbook that you open, without preparing a template? I personally like Arial 11. Who selected Calibri 11 as the default? |

This works well for new files which we create by opening MS Excel. But if we right click on Windows Explorer and create a new excel worksheet, then open it (dbl click), then the changed font is not being applied. Do you have any trick to fix this? Regards, Kamlesh |

Yes, I see that. I never create new files in that manner so I'm not sure how you'd correct that. When in Explorer and right-click NewMicrosoft Office Excel 2007 Workbook.
C:\Windows\SHELLNEW\Excel12.xlsx is the workbook that opens. Open it and make your changes to that workbook. Save.
