Document merging function
 

If you enter a number, say 1.2345 and set the display to two place of decimal
then it will be stored as 1.2345 but displayed as 1.24.

You can either convert the numbers to text before merging or specify the
desired format in the merge field.

In the mergefield you wan to format... just add \#0.00 after the field code

For example to format Salary field change the field from
{MERGEFIELD "Salary" }
to
{MERGEFIELD "Salary" \#0.00}

Thanks for your reply. Actually I have tried to convert the figure format
into "General" or "Text" before merged into main document. But it seems to be
the same. Or, may I know how to format the decimal place of merge cell in
words.
