Excel freezes while Inserting rows in a pivot table (custom vba co
 

In our company environment we are having Office 2007 with SP1. One of our
user group performs analysis on Excel sheets using the custom VBA code and
the analysis results are reported in a flexible pivot table.

When they try to add/drag more than three row fields onto the pivot table,
Excel crashes. when it crashes it takes 30 minutes to restore the data. In
Office Service pack 2, this issue gets resolved (see Row 139 in Office 2007
Service pack change list http://support.microsoft.com/kb/953195). However
currently we are not planning to migrate to Office 2007 SP2 rather we would
like to know if there is a seperate hot fix available to fix this issue alone?
