Hibernate Button
I do not have a hibernate option. I recently upgraded my harddrive and
installed a new one with 250 gig. I loaded Windows XP pro and have updated all of the changes. I show I have Windows XP Pro Version 2002 SP3 installed on a HP S7600n computer. I have read about a zillion suggestions about how to get it to hibernate but I still have not been successful. Hibernate is so handy to have and I want to save my data if I am gone from my computer too long. Standby function does not give me this option. Also I want to save some energy and get on the bandwagon to save the planet. I did a search on this computer and do not have the hiberfil.sys file. My other computer has it. Hibernate function worked great before I installed the new drive. I have all of the same equipment installed as before. Any simple suggestions to get it to work. -- Amos |

You might get a better response if you post in a newsgroup dedicated to
WinXP--not in a forum dedicated to excel. Amos Carver wrote: I do not have a hibernate option. I recently upgraded my harddrive and installed a new one with 250 gig.
