Spreadsheet to SharePoint

What would cause an unspecified system error, &H80004005 (-2147467259), when
attempting to import an Excel spreadsheet into MS SharePoint as a custom
list. The goal is to post the spreadsheet where several people may use it as
a web document to book appointments at the same time. Please advise.
