Help!! I am trying to open an excel file and I get a message that says
"Excel can not open this file. The file may have been damaged or modified
from its original. format." How can I recover the file

Look for microsfot application recovery under the start button. It is
usually under microsoft office - Tools or in a folder by itself called
microsoft office tools
