When I go to open any excel file, I first have to right, then left click
before the spreadsheet appears on the screen. Why doesn't it just open? |

Are you using xl2007?
Are you opening the files by double clicking on them in windows explorer? If yes, then I've seen lots of posts that say that the file opens, but the data/window isn't visible. Lots of people hit ctrl-o (to show the File|Open dialog) and then hit the escape key. And the window appears. Others just open excel, then hit ctrl-o (or open the file via the office button). If this doesn't help, you may want to give more details of the problem and what you're doing. choffman wrote: When I go to open any excel file, I first have to right, then left click before the spreadsheet appears on the screen. Enable one of the Excel addins. After a successful open close cycle, you
can disable the addin. choffman wrote: When I go to open any excel file, I first have to right, then left click before the spreadsheet appears on the screen. Why doesn't it just open? |
