How to separate the contents of one cell into two cells in Excel 2
Hi friends;
Im new in Excel and I have a large data file. One Cell in the data file is messed up. I would like to split or separate the contents of that cell but I dont know an easy way of doing it. I have Colum D4 to D7451 which contains data like this, CA 92315 and I would like to make a new column for zip code instead of having the State and zip code in the same column . Thank you in advance |

If you are using Excel 2007, you can quickly make use of the Text to columns
tool on the data tab. Insert two new columns, slect teh data you want to separate, select Text to Columns. Select space as the field separator and select the first insert columns as the destination.
