how do i print pages of pages example (1of3)
 

when printing i know how to put a page number on a worksheet but i am unable
to put a number of the number of pages in the footer or header

how do i print pages of pages example (1of3)

You have to go to page set up , Headeer / Footer and then choose from the
arrow what you need

hi
goto page set upheader/footer.
in the header/footer box, type......
&[page] of &[pages]

there are icons that will place the &[page] and &[pages] part in for you.
you have to type in the "of" part with spaces between &[page] and "of" and
&[pages]
