Excel 2007 save as Excel 2003 problem

My colleague is saving Excel 2007 to Excel 2003 format, but the problem is
when the time he opened the specific file with Excel 2003, some column value
is missing. There are not special formula or text in the column. Please
advices.

How about saving as Excel 2007 and then install the Office Compatibility
Pack on the PC with Excel 2003?

Thanks for the quick reply.

But the problem is, the file needs to be distributed to customer or other
site out of office. We cannot install the office compatibility pack in other
PC which out of office.

The users of the other PC can do it themselves. I've included a link you
may pass along.

use earlier versions of Excel, PowerPoint, and Word to open and to save
files from 2007 Office programs
