What happened to m.p.excel?
 

OE can no longer find microsoft.public.excel.

It no longer appears among my subscribed newsgroups. I had an access
problem earlier, so I might have unsubscribed as part of my troubleshooting
process. I don't recall.

But now, m.p.excel does not even appear in the list of newsgroups that I can
subscribe to.

Anyone else having that problem?

Anyone __not__ having that problem now?

Me. I can access through OE.

Thanks for that information. That motivated me to investigate further.

To make a long story short, something was wrong with the OE identity.
Clicking on Reset List caused it to relearn the list of newsgroups.
