Help w/ formula referring to different tabs & different info in ce
 

I have multiple tabs in my workbook and I need to refer to certain cells and
cell ranges in other tabs. Im having trouble with trying to create a formula
that would allow me to look up:

If cell A1 in current tab €˜Results = cell B1 in another tab €˜Data then
include (these are ID reference numbers and I need the IDs in Results Column
A to match the IDs in Data Column B) AND
If the information in Data X1:X100 equals 1, 2, 3 or 11, then return €œBlue€�
in Results Column C (corresponding to the right ID number)
If the information in Data X1:X100 in equals 4, 5, 6, 7 or 12, then return
€œRed€� in Results Column C (corresponding to the right ID number)
If the information in Data X1:X100 in the other tab equals, 8, 9, 10, or 13,
then return €œGreen€� in Results Column C (corresponding to the right ID number)

For example:

Results Tab
A - ID B - Date C - Colour
1440 5th March
1677 8th May
1589 1st April

Data Tab
B - ID X €“ Colour Code
1440 3
1667 7
1589 8

What I need to appear in Results Column C would be €œBlue€� for any reference
to ID 1440, €œRed€� for any reference to ID 1667 and €œGreen€� for any reference
to ID 1589. Im not very confident in Excel (I have Excel 2007) and any help
would be much appreciated! I hope what I am looking for is reasonably clear.
