typing 'Up Country' ends up as Up Country' ?

When typing 'Up Country' into a cell it ends up as Up Country' when I tab to the next cell, However, if I type " Up Country" it sticks Tried this in several cells with same result Anyone know what is happening & how to fix please? -- Martin ©¿©¬ |
typing 'Up Country' ends up as Up Country' ?
Start with two apostrophes.
Excel sees the first one as an indicator that the entry should be treated as text--like with credit card numbers. Which control are you using. Once you get the value to a variable; say dtValue
