How to create "stop lights" as drop down box options?
Trying to create a drop down box in excel but don't want text or numbers as
my options -- wanting red, yellow and green filled circles. Can anyone help? Thank you! |

Perhaps Wingdings2 font character code 0098, then set font color

How to create "stop lights" as drop down box options?
I cannot do the colored circles but how about selecting the cell color from
a drop down to produce your red, yellow or green? There is actually a value in the drop down-colored cell but it is formatted the same as the cell color for each selection, therefore you don't see it. If that will work for you I can post some code that lets you do that, along with some fairly simple instructions. Or send you a workbook. The circles are beyond me, sorry.
