Sorting Chart
Hello,
I have a pretty simple bar graph chart that is pulling data from about 10 different cells. I was wondering if there is anyway to format the chart so it displays the highest value 1st, followed by the 2nd highest, etc. without actually sorting the original set of data. I'm looking for a pareto chart of sorts. Thanks for the help! |

Have you considered using the LARGE function?

You have to compile the sorted list in the worksheet, then plot this list.
Charts don't process data, only plot it. You could use Barb's suggestion, the LARGE worksheet function, to accomplish the sort. - Jon ------- Jon Peltier, Peltier Technical Services, Inc. http://PeltierTech.com/WordPress/ Advanced Excel Conference - June 17-18 2009 - Charting and Programming http://peltiertech.com/Training/2009...00906ACNJ.html _______ "Evan" wrote in message ...
