Default Saving Excel data in tab delimited format to Notepad

I am attempting to save data to Notepad and it comes as a ANSI type file. I
receive the following dialogue box "are you sure you what to save in this
format or change to Unicode"?

What will I loose when I continue as the ANSI format?

Thanks
Tim

If you're writing in English, probably not any loss at all. See this page:
http://www.alanwood.net/demos/ansi.html

Essential difference is if using certain languages, you'd lose special
characters.
