If then on drop down
I have a sheet with a number of drop-down lists. I want to do an "if then"
statement based on selections from the drop-downs but, it's not working. My formula is =IF(AND(C8="Black",D8="30"), "Yes","No"). It works as long as I type directly into c8 and d8. It does not work if I select c8 and d8 from a drop-down list. Do either of you know if I'm doing something incorrectly or can I just not do that? |
If then on drop down
hi
assuming that your drop downs are data validation, i think there may be a problem with your formula. if in your formula, 30 is a real number then your formula should look like this...... =IF(AND(C8="Black",D8=30), "Yes","No") ie no quotes around the number 30. i tested and it works without the quotes. regards FSt1 "Cam" wrote: I have a sheet with a number of drop-down lists.
