mathmatical equation symbols

I just loaded MS 2007 tonight. I was excited to find the capability of
inserting equations in Word, but found that this wasn't available in Excel.
Does anyone know how to insert these symbols to Excel?

Not sure about 2007 menus

In older versions it can be invoked by:

Insert Object Create New Microsoft Equation 3.0

Can also be run "standalone"

There wasn't quite as many symbols as in Word 2007, but the advice is very
helpful.
